New English Class in Chelmsford

New English class in Chelmsford

17th March 2016

A new English Class is available to choose from with a new provider – The Ideas Hub Learning Centre. A Cambridge qualification is also available from this new EFL provider. This is great news for Au Pairs that are placed in and around the Chelmsford area, especially as English courses have been extremely limited after Chelmsford College dispersed their EFL course.

The venue is only a 2 minute walk from the bus and train station and are host family friendly  in class times with classes starting in the evenings from 7:45pm.

For further  information and contact details, please do take a look at the flyer:

Please do contact us if you require a copy of this flyer to be emailed to you.

Autumn update from Busybee Au Pairs

Autumn update from BusyBee Au Pairs

26th November 2015

From September, the BusyBee team have been extremely busy in sending out just over 200 welcome packs for #aupair arrivals. Thank you to our office admin; Rhianna for arranging this. We have also been providing support to host families to assist them in welcoming their new Au Pairs and following up with the newly arrived with our Arrival Questionnaire to ensure that everyone has arrived safe and well, have found language schools and have also made new friends.

BAPAA ( British Au Pair Agencies Association ) also held an Au Pair Welcome Event in London on Sunday 1st November where Au Pairs from all over the UK joined us for a fun filled afternoon of  social networking, playing quiz games and other icebreaking fun as well as nibbles and drinks.
Everyone that attended were able to share their aupairing experience to date, make new friends and they also captured memories of the day by having group photos with the popular “BAPAA” Photo Booth!

BAPAA prides itself in arranging events for Au Pairs. Here is a sneak peek at the BAPAA video of the day: https://youtu.be/UWmnMBCO00E

Jamie and Klaudia represented the BusyBee team this year and even they had a photo shot 🙂

BAPAA will be hosting another Au Pair event in May 2016 – the ever popular River Boat Trip on The Thames in London. This will be followed by a picnic, shopping and sightseeing in Greenwich. Keep an eye on our facebook page where we will post details on the next Au Pair event with dates to save to your diary.

We are now getting prepared for the next rush of arrivals for Au Pairs who will join new host families in January and look forward to welcoming many more new Au Pairs to the UK for their cultural exchange experience.
Annette in our recruitment department is also busy screening British students who are also interested in Aupairing abroad.
We have many Au Pair positions in France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, America and Australia right now to fill so the more interest we have from the British Youth the better. If you know of anyone who is interested in Cultural Exchange, work abroad or gap year travel then get in touch on: 01245 608313 or write to us at: admin@busybeeaupairs.com

My Au Pair Adventure by Suzanne

iStock_000023928621Large-1024x827My au pair adventure started in January in a  lovely family with 3 children, one boy from 8 years old and two girls from 5 years old. The first few days the grandma was there to help me, that was really nice so I didn’t have to do everything at my own immediately.

In the beginning I had to get used to everything, but the family helped me to feel at home and with looking for a hockey club because I wanted to play hockey here. After a while I was already quite busy with hockey and the English lessons I went to 3 mornings a week.

After I came back from my ski-holiday with my own family I started to make friends around here to enjoy my time here more and to see more of London. We also went to Brighton and Cambridge. Those days were really nice to get out of London and to see more of England.

One of my greatest experience is playing hockey at the Olympic pitch. I really like that and I’m glad that the whole summer league is there.

Another really nice moment was when my parents came to visit me and we spent one day with the family. It was so nice to have everyone together.

Now I’m leaving in a few weeks and I’m really going to miss everyone. It’s so nice to be around with children in their small world and seeing them to grow up. And I’m curious how they would be in 5 and 10 years. For me they’ll always be the cute, small children.
